Vice Admiral Dato Mohamad Adib (Rtd) holds an MPhil in Defence and Strategic Studies (Madras) and an MA in Defence and Strategic Studies (Deakin). Over 41 years with the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN), he had served as Commander of the Naval Airwing, Chief of Staff of the Joint Force Headquarters, Commander Naval Region One (Kuantan), Commanding Officer of a Multipurpose Command and Support Ship (MPCSS) and as Deputy Head of Mission for the International Monitoring Team (IMT-M6) in Mindanao, the Philippines (2011-2012). As a highly experienced navy pilot, other than serving as a qualified instructor with 3000 flying hours, his other services include deployment to the Gulf of Aden (off Somalia), as Operation Officer of the RMN Super Lynx Helicopter Project (the UK), and as Commanding Officer of the Super Lynx Helicopter Squadron (the UK). His last appointment was as Western Fleet Commander, under the RMN.

Rear Admiral Dato' Azhari bin Abdul Rashid (Rtd) holds an MA in Management (UM) and an MA in Military Science (Beijing). His early military education includes from the Royal Military College (Malaysia), the Royal Malaysian Naval Training Centre (Singapore), the Royal Australian Naval College (Australia). He had attended courses for Gunnery Specialist (India), Naval Gunfire Liaison Officer (USA), Overseas Joint Warfare Officer (Australia), and Senior Officer International Defence Management Course (California). In over 41 years of service, his command at sea includes KD Serang and KD Lekiu. His shore appointments are, among others, Staff Officer Operations at the Naval Headquarters and Staff Officer Contingency and Planning at the MAF Headquarters. His other notable posts include the Malaysian Defence Attache to China, the Naval Aide-de-Camp to His Majesty the 12th King of Malaysia, First Admiral and Assistant Chief of Staff J7 (Exercise) at Joint Forces Headquarters, the Commander Naval Region Three (Langkawi), and the Commander Naval Region One (Kuantan). His last appointment was as the Assistant Chief of Staff Human Resources at the Naval Headquarters.

Brigadier General Dato' Mohd Rashid bin Abdul Razak holds an MSc in Management of Information Technology (Nottingham) and an MA in Defence Studies (UKM). His other military trainings include Signal Squadron Commander Communications Course (Bangladesh), Joint Warfare and Joint Operation Planning Course (UTM), Electronic Intelligence Course (South Africa), Crisis Management (Sweden), and EW/Network-centric Seminars in Singapore, Germany, France, and Australia. In his 41 years of service, he has held various command positions. He had been Troop Commander and Officer Commanding (OC) at 93 EW Signals Regiment (Defence Intelligence), Instructor/Senior Instructor of Army Signals School, Staff Officer Grade 2 at Army Plans and Development Branch, Malaysian Battalion Defence Intelligence Staff Division for United Nations Peace Keeping Operations in Somalia, Systems and Cyber Defence Grade 1 Staff Officer under the Cyber Warfare Branch at the Communications and Electronic Division Headquarter, as well as Program Director of MAF Network Centric Operations Project and Director of Command and Control (C2) Systems at Communications and Electronic Division MAF Headquarters. His last appointment was as the Director of Signals at Army Field Command (Western Headquarters).

LIEUTENANT COLONEL MOHD ZABRI BIN IDRUS (RTD)

Lieutenant Colonel Mohd Zabri bin Idrus holds a Diploma in Strategic Studies (UM). He had also received military trainings from the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Helicopter Flying Training School, the Malaysian Air Force Staff College, the Army Signals School (Malaysia), and the Turkish War College (Turkey). In almost 40 years of service with the (RMAF), he had served as a qualified helicopter pilot with the RMAF helicopter squadrons and flown the Bell 47G, Alouette 111, and the Sikorsky S61A4 helicopters during his various postings with the RMAF helicopter squadrons. He was the first Officer Commanding of the newly formed RMAF Tactical Communications Squadron in RMAF Airbase (Butterworth) and a Communications Officer in the RMAF and the MAF HQ. He was also an MAF-representative for the Pacific Multinational Communications Interoperability Program (MCIP) related to Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR), the Multinational Working Group (MNWG) related to Link 16 Tactical Data Link, the annual Pacific Spectrum Management Conference, and the Pacific Link 16 Spectrum Working Group. His last appointment was as Staff Officer 1, Operations and Frequency Spectrum Managemant in the Communications and Electronics Division at the MAF Headquarters.
